Scholarships

Calvary Baptist Churchs extends two Scholarships to members who pursue Higher Education. 

 

Bessie V. Avant Leadership Scholoarship Awards***

A $500 Scholarship will be awarded to a limited number of high school seniors with strong leadership qualities, who plan to pursue Higher Education for the 2008-2009 school year.  This aware will be given in honor of the late Reverend Bessie V. Avant, who was a great leader,  advisor, evangelist, missionary, and public speaker, who appealed to many young men and women, and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

 

 

Contributions towards this scholarship will help more high school students enhance their leadership abilities through Higher Education.  

 

 COMPLETE STUDENT SURVEY

 

A $500 Scholarship will be awarded to a limited number of high school seniors who plan to pursue Higher Education for the 2008-2009 school year.  This award will be given in honor of the late Dorothy O. Liffridge, who was a great public speaker, educator of Dover, and member of Calvary Baptist Church.

 

Contributions towards this scholarship will help more high school students, who need financial assistance, pursue their goal of a degree.
